Silas Franklin Hustead was born June 12, 1836 in illinois and came to Texas with his parents in 1845.
His wife Lucinda A. Jones was born in Tennessee November 7, 1853, and came to Duck Creek (Garland) with her parents in 1855.
Frank Hustead and Lou Jones were married February 28, 1878 and spent their remaining years on the Hustead place at Duncanville (now the Red Bird Addition). Their home is currently owned by the Grace Baptist Temple Church on Frank Keasler, Duncanville.
Frank Hustead passed away January 9, 1923 and Lou Hmtead on December 22, 1929. Both are buried at Wheatland.
