Summer Meeting
Our June 1st meeting will feature Bud Brooks, an expert (and former student of) St. Marks School and it’s history.
Mr. Brooks is an amateur historian with his main focus being the history of St. Mark’s School and specifically its football program from the beginning in 1906.
St. Mark’s traces its origins to 3 all-boys prep schools in Dallas: Terrill School for Boys (1906-1946), Texas Country Day School (1933-1950) and the Cathedral School for Boys (1946-1950).
The Terrill School recapitalized itself into Cathedral at the same campus in 1946. Texas Country Day and Cathedral merged in 1950 to create St. Mark’s School of Texas.
Mr. Brooks is graduate of St. Mark’s School of Texas, has a BS degree from Brown University, and an MBA degree from SMU.
