McKinney Family Cemetery Visit
The purpose is to clean the cemetery to the degree allowed by the number of people who arrive between 11:00 and 11:30. An additional benefit is to see the cemetery, and visit with other history lovers. The most recent deed mentioning the one square acre cemetery is dated December 17, 1997, Instrument No. 97252/00268. Part of the cemetery is within a short chain-link fence. A 1977 survey of tombstones by Blanche Impey and Jeanne Tabbis is available in the DGS Quarterly, September 1986, Vol. 32, No. 3. The burials range from 1903 to 1976. At the last visit, tombstones were visible.
Located on the north side of Rylie Crest Dr. at Cade Parkway, north of 10500 US Hwy 175. Not shown on Mapsco as a cemetery.
