To Texas History Enthusiasts,
Annual Meeting 2026–March 4-7 in Irving, TX–is less than three weeks away! Here at the TSHA office we are busy making preparations. Whether it’s packing books, printing name-tags, or helping with hotel reservations, we’re here to make sure that this year’s conference is the most engaging and seamless experience to date.

This will be the most expansive Annual Meeting we’ve hosted in our 130 years. Here are a few programs that we are featuring:

- Panels featuring our own Dr. Rick McCaslin, current State Historian of Texas
- Book Lovers’ and Texana Collectors’ Breakfast
- Casino Night w/ The Cory Cross Band
- Over 30 panels touching on nearly all of Texas’s vast history
Annual Meeting is a unique opportunity to meet and network with Texas history experts, scholars, industry and business leaders, and fellow history buffs. We can confidently say that there is no event comparable to TSHA’s Annual Meeting–you’ll walk away with new understandings, new connections, and a renewed appreciation for all things Texas history.
