Our DCPA Cemetery Committee is sponsoring its first field trip of the year, weather permitting, to visit the Beeman Cemetery located at 3599 Osage Circle, Dallas, Texas. The purpose is to see the cemetery and visit with other history lovers. Several Beeman descendants will be among us as we look at the condition of the fencing and tombstones. Over the years, Marsha Leach has attended family gatherings and dedications of historical markers. She is very familiar with the cemetery and will be there to greet us as we make notes on work that is needed.
Location is east of Dolphin Rd, south of Mingo. Take Dolphin Rd to Gault St and continue on to Osage Circle. Gate is at the end of Osage Circle.
Please park on the south side of Osage Circle so as to leave space for residents to come and go. There’s limited parking, so carpooling is recommended, if possible.
