Northaven Park Cemetery, North Dallas

“Went by Northaven Park today (next to Harry C Withers elementary school). Keep in mind that the grave markers that I recall were flush with the ground on the west side of the creek that runs through the area including the park and the memory was from 50 or more years ago while attending school at Withers and T.C. Marsh Jr High. Attached are pictures of current condition showing gate from home built next door – there is a possibility the graves were re-interred to another location before or when the house was built. The current dense stand of bamboo makes search of the area near impossible. The neighborhood was where DCPA member Howard Cox grew up on the family farm (his family was the namesake of nearby Cox Lane).”
