October Cemetery Events
Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022, 10:00 AM at W. W. Glover Cemetery, 6600 Block Military Parkway, Dallas, Texas. There will be a clean-up and sandwich lunch day. Come help or supervise usas we do the minor work needed before winter. We plan to each bring a lawn chair and a sandwich for lunch. Look at tombstones, talk or listen to others discuss the pioneer families and history.
Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022, 4:00 PM at Warren Ferris Cemetery at intersection of San Leandro Dr. and St. Francis Ave., Dallas, Texas. Friends of Warren Ferris Cemetery present City of Dallas Forester, Karen Woodward who will lead a talk and tour of the cemetery to discuss the benefits of North Texas native trees.

November Cemetery Events
Friday, Nov. 4, 2022, 10:00 AM at the Bennett Family Cemetery section of Laurel Oaks Memorial Park (Laurel Oaks Memorial Park, 2649 Lake June Road, Mesquite, Texas) the historical marker unveiling will be celebrated. Marker research and application was headed up by Dean Barker, General Manager of Laurel Oaks.
Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022, 10:00 AM at McAdams/Brookhaven Cemetery, 2400 block Brookhaven Dr., Dallas, Texas. (South of intersection of W. Illinois Ave. & IH 35E; at south end of Brookhaven Dr. next to highway). The last time we saw this cemetery major work was needed. We will remove vegetation from around the tombstones and entryway in order to allow visitors to walk inside the fence and view the tombstones.
