By the time of his death, he owned nearly 3,000 acres north of Forest Lane and east of White Rock Creek. In 1976, the site of his homestead (and 44 remaining acres) were dedicated as Anderson Bonner Park. Saturday September 10th at 10:00 a.m., a historical marker and sculpture honoring Mr. Bonner will be dedicated at the park at 12000 Park Central Drive, Dallas, TX 75251. Descendants will be in attendance and all are welcome to attend.
