The public is welcome to attend the Sowers Cemetery Appreciation Day.
Learn about Old Irving history and the former Sowers community. One of Irving’s most historic sites, you are welcome to bring old photos, cemetery and community records and documents to share with the attendees.
Timeline:
Gather at 10 for a tour of the cemetery at 10:15.
General meeting at 11 followed by a discussion and ceremony.
BBQ lunch at 11:30 (donations welcome).
Cemetery tour at 12:45.
